About Me
I believe, without exception, that everyone has the capacity within themselves to face challenges, heal from pain, and experience growth. As a therapist, my aim is to help you rediscover the skills and capacities that you already possess in order to thrive according to your values.
I have been working with people from all walks of life in education and mental health fields for over twenty years. I have counselled in private practice and non-profit settings, helping others to address childhood trauma, interpersonal violence, anxiety, depression, and improving mental wellness. I genuinely love helping others to grow and meet their goals.
I am currently working toward full membership with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC) and am building my professional experience under close supervision. As part of this process, I may ask for your consent to record sessions for review with my supervisor to support my ongoing professional learning. Sessions are not likely to be covered by your insurance at this stage.
